Trixie belonged to Rox's aunt for eight years. In mid-2015 the aunt was diagnosed with terminal cancer. She asked us to adopt Trixie when she passed away. Rox picked her up on August 3, 2015 and brought her home.

At 16 pounds Trixie was cat-sized. She had some of the nervous habits of small dogs, such as running in circles when excited. Forunately she was also quite intelligent and mostly calm. We did not have any experience with small dogs, so it took us a while to learn to communicate with her, but with work on all sides we got there. She was a determined and strong-willed beast, but kind and friendly with her adopted family.

Trxie passed away on January 21, 2019 in the arms of her loved ones. We miss her.
