I couldn't find a production wilderness blade that met all of my requirements, so knifesmith Bob Dozier made me one. The result is more than I knew to ask for.
This blade is outstanding for almost any task. It fits my hand perfectly, accepts heavy use with grace, and seems to hold an edge forever. I call this the Texas Six because it is a variation on Bob Dozier's #6 model extended to the Texas length limit. I carry it whenever I am away from civilization.
