I view this as a good supplemental tool for use with a more conventional multi-tool or Swiss Army Knife. Sometimes an adjustable wrench is much better than a pair of pliers.
The one problem with this design is that the bit holder is only attached to the main tool by magnets, which is not very secure. I tied a loop of cord through the lanyard hole opposite the LED on the bit holder. I made it just large enough to go around the bit holder and hook through the carabiner clip on the main tool. That insures that the two pieces will stay together, but allows me to unclip them quickly if I want to separate them.
